Welcome to Waterland
Over 850 berths
Our harbour has more than 850 berths between 7 and 15 meters long. Larger boats have berths alongside. Almost all berths have the option of a fixed power connection. All our jetties have general power and water points, which are activated with the marina card (Waterland) or coins (Hemmeland).
We have places for visiting boats available – you can moor in a box, a box with a side jetty or alongside that you reserve in advance. You can also moor near the blue house and come to the harbour office. If you have preferences, do let us know. We have options that are close to the centre/playground/side jetty or near friends: we have possibilities. Storage
Some boats don’t need a berth, they need storage. Think of optimists, dinghies and ribs on a (road) trailer. We offer contracts for this type of boat where the storage is on land and the use of the slipway is included. The Hemmeland location is best suited for this, parking is here behind the barrier. Do you need a berth in the water and storage for the trailer? Then you can store the trailer at a reduced rate.
Price indication
We calculate with the LOA (length over everything) and the total width. The berth for a Dehler 34 (model 2017) costs € 2,329.60 for a normal berth, to which there is an additional € 95 environmental surcharge. You pay tourist tax (€ 52,65) if you do not live in the municipality of Waterland and you can choose a fixed power connection (€100) near your berth (excl. consumption). So if you live in Amsterdam and you want to moor this boat with a permanent power connection in our harbour, the fixed costs are €2,577,25 for 2025. Why Monnickendam
Monnickendam is a historic Zuiderzee town that has a lot to offer to visitors. Jachthaven Waterland has excellent facilities – at our harbour you will find Restaurant Joon, Halver Sails, Jachtservice de Waterman and our own Waterland Yacht Service.
There are many restaurants in the centre and events are regularly organised. The market on Saturday around the Speeltoren and the Monnickendammer Visdagen in the summer on Friday are unique.
Recreation area Hemmeland is next to our marina, has beach club StrandVier and swimming beaches. It is also very suitable for walking the dog. You can borrow a bike to go grocery shopping or you can rent electric bikes in Volendam and have them delivered to us.
Speeltuin Monnickendam
We sponsor Speeltuin Monnickendam, a local playground association. This association is well known in the region and children up to 10 can play outside here. The playground is open from April to October in good weather. Check Facebook for its news and opening hours.

Contract
We are a member of the Hiswa and conclude berth contracts under these terms and conditions. There are summer and annual contracts, both start on April 1 and continue automatically. The allocated berth this season is also the berth for next year. Cancellation of the contract must be in writing before December 31.
