Camper spots with electricity
The harbour location Hemmeland has special camper spots for campers. You can arrive with the camper within the opening hours of the harbour office.
Arrival is between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, departure is from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
You can reserve the camper spot in advance by email or by telephone. The costs for a camper up to 9 meters are €21, larger €26.50 per night. The costs include electricity, water, WiFi and VAT; excluding tourist tax.
Why Monnickendam?
Monnickendam is a historic Zuiderzee town that has visitors a to to offer. Jachthaven Waterland has perfect facilities and is located next to the old center. The Middendam is only a few minutes walk. With more than ten restaurants in the area, there is something for everyone. The Hemmeland recreation area is very suitable for walking the dog (there are dog swimming beaches) and for swimming in the summer.
Bikes
For a short trip to the supermarket you can borrow a bicycle at the harbour office. Want to discover the area? We rent bicycles per day, alternatively electric bicycles can be rented in Volendam that are delivered to us. Our tip is: cycle from Monnickendam to Marken, take the bike on board the Marken Express to Volendam and cycle from Volendam back to here.

Speeltuin Monnickendam
We sponsor Speeltuin Monnickendam, a local playground association. This association is well known in the region and children up to 10 can play outside here. The playground is open from April to October in good weather. Check Facebook for its news and opening hours.
