Blue diesel in Monnickendam
For our fleet and the ships in our harbour we sell blue diesel (HVO100) from Future Fuels at the Waterland location. Blue diesel is a sustainable alternative to diesel made from waste products. It is better for the environment because it burns more efficiently. The engine will run quieter and therefore cause less vibrations. And the CO2 reduction compared to the emissions with fossil diesel is 89%.
Traxx diesel in Volendam
In Volendam we sell Traxx diesel. Traxx is a special diesel from Schouten Energy for ships and this is HVO40. This diesel has an additive to make the combustion cleaner. This tank is kept at a standard stock level of 3500 liters, if you need more: let us know. We can read the level in the tank in real time.
