Welcome to Waterland

Visitor berths available

Jachthaven Waterland has berths available for motor and sailboats of 7-15 meters.

You can moor in a box, a box with a side jetty or alongside. Visitor spots are at the Waterland location where you can get electricity and drinking water with the marina card. A berth on Hemmeland D-H jetty is of course also possible, but please indicate this in advance. Is the boat larger than 15 m or wider than 4.5 m? Please contact us in advance and we will see if we have a good berth available.

Why Monnickendam?

Monnickendam is a historic Zuiderzee town that has visitors a to to offer. Jachthaven Waterland has perfect facilities and is located next to the old center. The Middendam is only a few minutes walk. With more than ten restaurants in the area, there is something for everyone. The Hemmeland recreation area is very suitable for walking the dog (there are dog swimming beaches) and for swimming in the summer.

Bikes

For a short trip to the supermarket you can borrow a bicycle at the harbour office. Want to discover the area? We rent bicycles per day, alternatively electric bicycles can be rented in Volendam that are delivered to us. Our suggestion is: cycle from Monnickendam to Marken, take your bike on board the Marken Expres to Volendam and cycle from Volendam back to us.

Speeltuin Monnickendam

We sponsor Speeltuin Monnickendam, a local playground association. This association is well known in the region and children up to 10 can play outside here. The playground is open from April to October in good weather. Check Facebook for its news and opening hours.
